Gears2You was started in 2021 by two neighbors, who noticed that more people were getting on bikes and making the most out of their new found free time. What the duo also noticed was that many of the bikes people were getting on were in pretty rough shape. It’s here where the two thought they could make a difference.
Meet the Gears 2 You team
Peter Janunas
Peter has a background in Sales and Fitness, recently becoming a certified Pilates instructor. His love of bicycles started back when he was a teenager and remembers watching the Tour de France in 1989 when Greg LeMond won the Yellow Jersey. He started competing on the track in 1991 and spent many years working in bike shops and learning the industry.
Peter and his wife, Lisa moved to Riverside with their two children in June of 2015. They love the uniqueness of the village with its walkable downtown and proximity to the city by train. They enjoy visiting local establishments by bike.
